Keep playing the game!!!!! There is no Easter egg, it's part of the story.
Did you even read my post?
Oh, your one of those people. "I'm right so you don't know how to read."
Off to the next forum to encounter more sociopaths....
I doubt it's a bug because it seems to happen to everyone, and in the exact same location.
The "door bug" doesn't always happen, and it's not even always involving that specific door.
Here's that bug occuring with random pipes: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=366925795
As for it hinting to other Aliens being on board, like I said, that was my first guess as well, but they are supposed to all be in the Reactor Core all the way in Engineering. Why would I hear it in the Lorenz Systech Spire?
Also, that scream is an aggressive one; the type the Alien makes before attacking. Like I said, I don't get attacked there, and neither does that other person who recorded it.
It being a hint is still a possibility, but still a somewhat weird one.
If you listen carefully on the video, I noticed that the Alien Scream sound seems to play at the exact time that other sounds play.
It's just coincidental, based on my own playthrough. The sounds play as you open the door to the main Gemini hallway and when you enter the small segment with leaky pipes. Only does it once, and then you need to wander around the facility for a bit in order for it to repeat itself once you revisit that area.
I strongly suggest everyone else who finished the game to load their 12th mission save and revisit Gemini Exoplanet Solutions in order to get their own impressions about what's happening there.
If it is a bug, it doesn't work like any of the other bugs in the game. If its not a bug, I am curious about whether it might be a weird hint of "things to come", or rather a hint regarding the jettisoned Alien's fate.
It's definately a bug, or a glitch. And certainly the idea that it's probably "the alien that gets on board of the Torrens." is really... really... far fetched. Come on.
Fair enough. Point out a few of the other areas and I'll check them out.
Cool find. I found one too. It was where the Station blows up, anyone else discover it?
It is unclear if it really is the same Alien, so I have no idea. That theory is as good as it being a bug or it being one of the other Aliens on board the station.
IF it really is the same Alien, it might be something to mention during a sequel, as in the current game you'll find no real confirmation to it.
