Ripleys Wristwatch?

My gf mentioned that she likes the watch that Amanada Ripley's wristwatch. I was thinking about getting her one like it for xmas. Does anyone know where I can find one simmlilar to the one she wears in the game? That retro 80's look.

I realize that this is kind of a hailmary here but i figured maybe someone would know

i don't get people who ask this about games and movies. first of all, they're fictional, it's not going to exist in real life. secondly, if they want to use real brands, they'd have to think about licensing costs. no point in doing so unless they have an advertising agreement.

Actually Aliens (2nd movie) did have obvious advertising tie-ins, with both Reebok (Ripley's athletic shoes) and Caterpiller Tractors (the Power Loader). Some films will bring in outside companies to defer production costs, in exchange for promotional considerations.

With some ingenuity you could probably make one if you had two Casios and sent the specs of the backpiece off to a 3d printing outfit for production in Ethylene Vynyl Acetate or something., -

You'd also have to make an extended band, maybe by sewing the fabric portion of two seperate bands together.

Sounds like a lot of trouble just for some offhand statement by your gf though.

I was looking for that watch too, but its not a real watch.to me it seems to be a homage to the aliens watch worn by colonial marines. seiko corp has equipped the movies. its name is Seiko S234-5000 Pulsemeter.

I also was looking for that watch - I am considering making two for the wife and I if Fox/Creative Assembly don't get with the merchandising soon.

Also, it is clearly meant to be a sturdy rubber digital watch, so if they make a replica expensive, I may still make one that can be worn for work etc.
