Who the hell could take IGN's review seriously?
When this game has a majority of positive reviews and IGN's basically translated into
"It was too hard because the AI was too unpredictable 6/10."

The game’s object, then, is to run around a space station in search of keycards, access codes, and other “press A to use” objectives, all the while hiding whenever anything beeps on your handy motion tracker.
I don't remember IGN ripping on Outlast, which could be summed up the exact same way. Minus the motion tracker of course.

So we should just disregard the fact that the majority of the other reviews are dishing out 8s and 9s just because it has Sega's logo on it? Especially since Sega is only the publisher? Okay then.

alien isolation sucks. you cant really expect what ca promised us- come on, its a company ...
the AI is very unfair, if you leave alien behind, AI teleports it near to you. if you stay under vents, AI dices. the AI is simulated, and not the constant threat it should be. the game takes you by the hand and if you die, it says: sorry, your fault bro. that sucks man! rest of game are jumpscares, alien only spawns if script allows it, so you play the same ♥♥♥♥ every time you start again.

You are completely wrong, you are a troll, read reviews, and I mean more than just gamespot and IGN, read the good reviews too to get a complete picture. Otherwise, you are just a troll.

"the AI is simulated, and not the constant threat it should be." Isn't that a contradiction? Anyway, where did you learn that the Alien teleports if you get far from it? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just would like to read more about this or maybe see a video proof.

This, uh, this actually made me want to play the game more.

Xeno does teleport to be in your general vicinity. It rubberbands to where you generally are.

I knew this since the start. But I don't expect it to actually roam the map, you'd never run ito the alien most of the time if it did that. It would be busy killing off other people on the map...Yet it only follows your lead, from a distance.

There is no way an alien can appear from one end of your radar the magically appear on opposite side of the map as you evade it on radar. It would have to be as fast as the Flash.
What I am really worried about is how large the levels are, and how many different routes I can take to reach my objective, that is what I am worried about, and that is what will make the game good or bad.

its all in their review, I think I would take IGN review more seriously, because it really points out the CONS of the game.

Buggy AI.

Linear gameplay

No objective other then to open doors and hide, which gets boring after a while.

single player game. Once people beat it once, its probably going to get deleted.

No Community....No online gameplay. I bet you after 30 days of this game being out, this forum will be a ghost town
