Do you still get TF2 items if your pre-order from gamestop?

My guess is no which kinda of sucks. Seeing as how you could only get both parts of the Alien dlc from only a pre-order of gamestop. Plus saving money from buying the season pass. I want dat flamethrower for tf2!

It's stupid that they give ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TF2 items away, from a game that has nothing to do with it. Just all tricks to let people buy the game before reviews and stuff comes online. It's a trap like all pre-order games.

well people that play the game will offer a key or something that you can sell on the market and you can use that money to buy more games. so you can think of it as a discount if you have the right outlook.

if you buy the game, and get the items...find me and ill give you 1 tf2 key you can list on the market and get a couple bucks.

Submit a ticket to steam support. I'm sure they will be happy to give you the items once they release them. I've heard about them doing it for other games.

Usually only ordering from Steam directly gives those items. eg. Bioshock, XCom, etc.

Only game I have got TF2-items outside steam is Wolfenstein TNO from GMG. That was like half-year after release thought, so it's not preorder exclusive like others.
