Patch notes for ritualist are incomplete right?
"Ritualist is no longer revealed if they failed a blood ritual" is kind of insane but they lose their power right? Or does it now count as a powerful attack that can be blocked? Or is the point of the change to just not make anyone want to claim?

Mez. As a thing.

Do remember Ritualist only can guess 3 times total. So them allowing a more Riskier guess that can fail. doesnt overly cause a issue

Ofc its a buff and alot of people would just complain to a No counterplay

I assume it was done as a response to the Illuminated debuff.

This is the problem though, they took away the only punishment for such a powerful ability. Also now rit can now claim or fake "I guessed X as Y and didn't work" without being revealed.

And that's a bit flawed logic - why would a Ritualist ever claim to fail their blood ritual and out themselves like that, outside of maybe in the wake of a freshly transformed Famine appearance?

More to the point - they only get three rituals, and they can't use PM/Witch reveals right away. Having this now counter-balanced by them not being revealed on a bad guess I feel is fine IMO, but if they just abuse this newfound power to burn their guesses recklessly I might report them for throwing.

Same way any other evil ability can provide info, death notes and wills.

Again - flawed logic; Rit would ideally want to keep all of that info hidden.

Them revealing that they missed a guess just ensures nobody slips up and gives them their role for the rest of the game... not to mention giving the non-coven a tally on how many rituals they have left.

Ya'll acting like everyone plays on discord with organized people, in casual any all where you're probably dead by day 4 by random tpow, fake info, tk, nk etc you might as well spend all the charges. Also there could also just not be a rit and cov could put it in deathnote/will just to sow paranoia and chaos.

I only play all any, and I'd still not do all of what you'd suggest if I was Rit with these changes

Ritualist just should never have been a killing role in the first place. If it was just taking away people's powers and could also target TIs it would be perfect.

It a counter for vets, apocs, NKs and to prevent people from open claiming. Its no different than a DS.
