Yeah, probably bigger damage than ARs, greater RPM, but way lower accuracy could work. Would force you in short/medium range like shotguns though
With that mod on your boots you don't have a 75-100 round magazine, your magazine in an LMG is the size of however any bullets you have.
It will also burn down any boss with a pronounced weak spot faster than most other weapons.
Know who you are fighting and bring the best 2 weapons for the enemy type.
When I'm fighting humans I prefer SP and Pistol, Deviants I usually bring LMG and Rifle.
Magazine size for LMG is still fairly small and cost per bullet is still high. Being that 1/3 of shots miss their target at 50ft away and it takes 3x longer to reload than an AR, it will always be less efficient than even a shotgun at the same range.
If they aren't going to bump up accuracy with weapons, they need to at least make ammo for one designed around spray and pray be easier to work with.
It's almost zero. but yes zooming in does allow you to be very accurate with any gun.
The explosion it causes is strong enough to OHKO most mooks and thanks to the BBQ gloves bosses melt rather fast too.
The weapon's weakest aspect is definitely the accuracy though. It's hard to hit much of anything while hip firing. Short bursts while aiming work fine though.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the gun does once I get the Hardy Gloves next week. I assume those will be quite good with the mod that makes burn only lose half it's stacks when it expires.
