house blueprint exclusive to ethernal land !??!?!
I cant believe i spend hours into making a good looking house in eternal so i can build it in the base game and end up not being able .

I have the resources to build it , there is nothing exclusive on it ... it just a wood and brick house !

Clearly the dev need to remove that problems .

I'm just trying to figure out the POINT of building a house in Eternaland.
Doxal Jul 27, 2024 @ 10:43am
Building in Eternaland has no build limit or build range limit, that could be why they don't allow it to transfer to base game.

It's just a free-play mode. I'm more confused as to how others are confused about this. :lunar2020playfuldog:

To try freely to make a cool base form , i dont see any other reason to use ethernal land . But now since blueprint are incompatible , there is absolutly no reason lol.

100% Why even have this if not to create/try builds you could then bring with you to the "real" world. Ugh...

Having a house in Eternaland, as I understand... is so you can store certain items you dont want to lose in the wipe... but there's a limit as to what items can or cant be saved.

Like, you cant save any furniture or materials, etc... but I think you can save your Deviants... but I'm not sure about that... as a friend told me they heard it from another friend.... and well you know how that goes.

Was it a problem before and they fixed it? because I was able to save blueprint and place it just fine in season realm earlier.

Just to clarify its function:
If you have all required material, it will allow you to instantly place the building with "House Blueprint" button.
But if you don't, you can place them as ghost and fill it piece by piece as you go with "Build" button.

So you want to put a new house down on top of one already in place. You can't have two territory markers on the same location. Kind of like the law of physics... two bodies cannot occupy the same space at the same time. You all find the weirdest things to cry about.

I believe it's expected that it would overwrite the current placement, as it does when you use a blueprint created in the normal server to adjust the same base created on the normal server.

It's not that kind of ignorant. It might be a different kind of ignorant, depending on what OP is actually trying to do, but it's not THIS kind of ignorant.

But when you use a blueprint on the normal server it DOESNT overwrite though? every time i tested it just tries to put it on top.

Seriously?? Wtf. I just spent hours trying to get a design sorted in a clean environment before saving the blueprint and rebuilding it in a live server and... ETERNALAND EXCLUSIVE!

Ugh, very frustrated. You guys had a great idea, then you made it stupid. Why?

Given how broken and finicky the building system is, Eternaland would be a super helpful place to get your designs sorted so you can just pay the resources and plunk them down in the live servers. But instead it's... not at all useful? Seems like an awful lot of dev time poured into something just to remove its core function because *reasons*.
