After week 6 they wipe and you can jump to a new server. All of your stuff goes into a storage world called Eternaland (Or LaLaLand) and you get 20k transfer points to bring some things across from the wiping server to the starting server. There are lots of videos on YouTube suggesting what to bring across.
If you start on Manibus (Novice) the difficulty is a little easier as it is designed to show you the world. Manibus after the wipe will be tougher and way of winter is different because it introduces temperature mechanics.
Week one is always sealed. Memetics (Skill tree) will not let you access the full amount. The level is capped at (I think) 40.
So it starts you off slow then turns you loose in week 2.
But after those 6 weeks the world will go poof. But don't worry: you get to keep most of your stuff; besides the scenario you also have your own private island called "Eternaland" and this place doesn't reset.
So once a scenario is done most of your stuff will be transported to Eternaland so that you can transfer some of those items to your new scenario. All at a cost, of course.
Absolutely not, though there will be a few minor caveats.
One possible issue is that while you'll be busy working your way up the starting areas most other players will be busy 'elsewhere'. But then again, that can both be a bad and good thing also because this game is easily played solo. And while the game focusses on pve, real coop is best done with friends in teams anyway.
Another possible issue is teaming up, especially when you're ready to fight rift monsters.
I started playing on my server around week 4 (so near the end) and I could never find anyone to team up with me agianst a rift monster. Rift monsters are basically stage bosses: after you defeat them you've saved a region and then it's onto the next one.
However... then I discovered "prime war", which is a late game coop boss fight. Now all of a sudden plenty of players were tagging along to go fight. Just too bad for me that I really dislike prime wars :P
But even so, I never considered this a problem. Had a great time, collected a ton of gear & resources and yah... reset is about to happen but I'm ready for it.
