Worst Servers In The Entire History Of Gaming

I'm just here to give you a friendly reminder that Once Human literally has the worst servers in the entire history of gaming.

" YeAh BuT yOu HaVe To ChOoSe ThE sErVeR tHaT's ClOsEsT tO yOu ". Yeah right, as if that is gonna help at all, you can hold a broken umbrella over your head but it won't prevent you from getting wet in the rain. There's no servers for my country or continent, and for those who DO have servers close, they STILL have problems with the demonic level of lag in this game. Latency is an absolute joke at best, never seen a game where I get 999ms every few minutes, around every 2-5mins.

Devs, please stop working on more content, skins, bug fixes and whatever for the moment, and focus ALL of your attention that you possess on fixing your dysfunctional servers first and foremost. I love this game a lot but I'm considering deleting it solely because of the extremely terrible servers, but I will give them a chance and hope they fix it soon.

They worked an entire month on fixing it (all of October, and I still see no difference whatsoever) but I hope there will be a solution soon. If by the end of November it's still not fixed yet, then I'm getting rid of this game for good no matter how much I love it. I'm glad I haven't spent a cent on this game cause it would've sucked if I had done so only to delete it later cause of the unbearably bad servers. The bad servers make playing this game incredibly frustrating.

Then I can only conclude that you don't have much experience in online gaming, because I can come up with far worse examples.

You do realize that lag can be caused by much more factors other than the servers themselves? Now don't get me wrong: there are lag issues, if there weren't then the devs wouldn't have shared an official apology on their Discord about it.

Oh right... ever seen that before? They even spoke of compensation for affected players.

Still.. fact of the matter is that lag can be caused by way more factors than just the server alone; your connection with a server is not one on one; your data passes through tons of so called "hops" (= relay stations if you will) and every single one of those can become a potential cause for lag.

And here I am... only experiencing some lag during the start of my session but afterwards.. - generally speaking - it's pretty solid and quite good.

But yah, something is being done about it, ergo the statement on Discord.

My question for OP is what kinda McDonald's a$$ internet are you running? Better yet, where are you even gaming from? The North or South pole? Go play minecraft if it's that bad for you. Everyone else seems to be handling it well, why do you think you're something special? Lmao The entitlement on a F2P game is absolutely insane.

The game has really horrible memory leaks and is poorly optimized. Dont listen to anyone that gaslights you into thinking your system is cheeks and *get better hardware* lol no. But do your research before complaining here, its turned into an echo chamber since the devs dont read any posts. You mind posting your specs here?

My server literally had a system message talking about how bad the lag was, and how they're looking into it, but pop off, king.

McDonalds? That's an understatement. My internet runs at 1kb per century. And I'm gaming from my 1995 microwave, and I'm currently stationed on the other side of the moon. Oh yes, I'm definitely special, I went to a school for special children. You didn't, now you jealous of me. Neeeh neh-neh neh neeeh!

On a serious note, just because it's F2P doesn't mean I can't complain about something being dysfunctional, you know? Kinda like how you didn't have to pay to comment on my post and still took the opportunity to complain about what I said and criticise me for it. Logic is a great thing, isn't it? Too bad you don't have it, so I doubt you'll understand what I said. Make sure you're not a hypocrite before you open your mouth to say something in the future. And just in case you didn't catch what I was saying, I was saying that you're a hypocrite, you hypocrite.

Mine ain't bad, they just don't have servers for South Africa and the best servers we usually get on games that don't have S.A servers is Europe servers. I usually get around 80-100ms from Europe servers in other games, but in Once Human I'm always sitting at around 220-250ms and it's very unstable, often spiking up to 500ms, 800ms, and ultimately 999ms and once it reaches 999ms it doesn't go down, forcing me to exit the game and restart.... And today specifically that happened like every 2-5mins.

Servers could be better, and the memory leaks are not helping peoples issues....but I've seen worse servers before. Wait until you find a game that won't let you sign into the game because the servers were full, and the anti cheat bans you because it counts that as manipulating a multiplayer disconnect flaw.

Haha, you should read how the connection to the server works and then talk about logic. There are some lags on EU servers, but not such garbage as you say. It looks more like you have an unstable connection. So the most I can advise is to do as we did in 00, make a trace to the servers and ask the provider to change the route. Or just complain to your provider / use vpr or others route changers.

As stated previously, I'm from South Africa.... you know, the country at the bottom of the continent of Africa? Just check on a map where it's located..... And if a game doesn't have South African servers, then we usually connect to EU servers which is 2nd best for us after South African servers. So logically, we will NOT get the best experience. But even so, in other games the EU servers are not as bad as in Once Human. While in other games I get around 80-100ms on EU servers, and it's stable, but in Once Human I get 220-250ms at best, that's more than double the latency compared to other games, and even then it's not stable and keeps randomly spiking up to 500ms, 800ms etc.

not everyone can access fiber. Fiber ends 100' away from my place. I have to use Tmobile home internet.
You should probably go see a therapist, and maybe get in touch with some grass.
