if you've tried multiple, what is your favorite gun/build?

So I have tried
Pyroclasm Shotgun
Boom Boom LMG
Little Jaws SMG
Corrosion Shotgun
Last Valour Rifle
Predator LMG both Weakspot and Crit as 2 separate builds
Favourite is Predator Crit. Seems to be a good DPS weapon with or without weakspot (like Chaos Weaver). I don't really have the good calibration for it, currently just run with Stability double crit rate, because I saved the WS from last season instead.

i like last valor/bingo shrapnel. i know there are exotic builds that are more impressive, but the ease of finding mods, an easy food buff, and the overall joy of having a sniper available make this my all-time favourite build.

yea i find valor crit build is best with the crit mod that also negates it so you can't get weakspot damage on bullet hit though, which makes the sniper way less useful and just a buffing tool and you're better off with xbow then instead:\

My favorite is sniper rifle. I enjoy picking off targets from a safe distance and a head shot will give a 1-shot kill if the target is under my level (non-elite).

that's not a build bro, please read the topic. "I like sniper rifles" is a pointless statement

I have tried:

SOCR - Outsider + SN700 - Gulped Lore + Stun Baton
This was my first build and even though it is all purple gear, I pretty much cleared most of my first season's content with this. I think it is strong and cheap to make.

SOCR - The Last Valor + AWS.338 - Bullseye + Frozen Northern Pike
This was my final build in first season for my main character. I think it is still my strongest build to-date because I have invested most of my starchrom into it for the Lone Wolf set and extra copy of SOCR - The Last Valor. The Frozen North Pike is also great as an "Oh ♥♥♥♥!" panic button with the freeze mechanic. That said, I have swapped it with the Katana because it looks better.

This build is also what I start with for every first phase before I switch builds to something new in phase 2 or 3, as I find it very reliable.

MG4 - Predator + DBSG - Doombringer
This was my final build in second season for my main character. I think it is pretty strong. I didn't like the nature of it being a bullet guzzler but it is not bad especially for single targets. The Doombringer as a secondary was purely to try something other than Bingo but truthfully, it sucks in my opinion but I did get it from an Echoes from the Rift pull so it is my luck to blame.

This build came with me buying some Bastille set pieces for the crouching effect and it's strong but the annoying part is this is not great if I need to run around to avoid damage.

M416 - Silent Anabasis + AWS.338 - Bullseye
This is my current in-progress build in third season for my main character. So far, I think it is great for mob clears but sucks for everything else. The chaosweaver being immune to elemental damage just adds on to its ineffectiveness.

However, because this is a "career change" from non-elemental builds (Shrapnel and Fast Gunner) to an elemental one (Frost Vortex), my armors are not ready for it even though I have the gloves. I basically bought the rifle and gloves for 16k starchrom and when phase 4 comes, I will drop another 20k starchrom to see how it goes.

At phase 3 with TIer V gear, I am basically doing about a third of the damage my SOCR - The Last Valor is doing but it is likely due to the armor pieces. I am waiting for phase 4 just so that I can get Blackstone set pieces and more copies of this rifle and its gloves.


KVD - Boom! Boom! + KAM - Crank + Stun Baton
This was my final build in first season for my second character. My second character was created mainly to play with my friend who joined later and was not able to join my server.

Since my main character was using non-elemental build (Shrapnel), I wanted something different so I went with burn and to be honest, it's pretty strong for clearing mobs. It was just lacking in single target damage (relatively to my main character) or bosses since those seem to either be outright immune to elemental damage or just not suitable.

I also invested a bit into this build with getting the Shelterer set and the BBQ gloves. However, I think the ROI is not as good as my main character's investment into the shrapnel build.

DE.50 - Jaws + AWS.338 - Bullseye
This was my final build in second season for my second character. I think it is very strong. However, I just don't like shooting pistols.

I also used it in third season for my second character. Still can't get used to it but it is undeniably strong.

I invested a bit into this build with the Shaman vest and reused my Shelterer set from the first season.

DB12 - Raining Cash
Got this from an Echoes from the Rift pull and tried it but I can't get it to work and I don't like the way it shoots.

I've found the Power Surge build to be very effective with the Outer Space SMG. I use the DE.50 Jaws with it.

I keep trying other builds, but always feel they are weak and keep going back to power surge. The purple SOCR one is easy to two star in novice and 2 star the gear you use with it as the gear uses easily obtainable gear from mythic crates.

You talk builds.. yet only focus on guns and don't even address the combat deviations? One thing I've quickly learned is that your deviation can become a huge factor into combat (or for the avoidance of it).

Alas, I'm fully set on my SOCR Liberty in combination with the LMG B00m, b00m! as well as my trusty Katana, though being level 10 right now I can only wield the kitchen knife. Still a deadly combo though.

The problem is that many hostiles become damage sponges so you need to keep up with applying solid damage of your own, and mods and tiers only do so much (within context). Eventually it's gonna be about firepower and the option to either make it last or be able to evade and come back again.

So I'm kinda set on automated rifle, machine gun and melee weapon. ... with my trusty Shattered Maiden deviation which can really help to either do some solid damage at once, or to keep me more hidden in the shadows.

the only issue i have with chaosweaver is you have use bingo and wildfire to kill chaosweavers due to stupid amount of HP ive tried builds by doomeris bingo is better option for taken it down and the drops from chaosweaver is mediocre literally 5k energy links the devs needs to lower the HP it takes like 20 people with endgame bingo and mods to bring one down
