Once Human | VPN Issues and fixes

We are looking into VPN solutions for issues related to launching the game, server connectivity, and other VPN-related matters in Once Human.

I haven't used any VPN, Japan servers just dissapeared and my character is gone, same for my gf.

What is going on?

dont use vpn at all and lost my char on japan server and can only see 4 japan servers 1 pvp and 3 ove

Could it be that the game has some kind of region ban? I dunno if this may be of help but:

1-I play in North America servers because I'm from this side of the world and I've found out that without a VPN, in the server selection screen, the list is static (like same servers/numbers all the time from PVE-001 to PVE-020 more or less) and cannot connect to any server on the list. When activating a VPN (I've tried different providers) in a US East server the list changes and the numbers goes higher (last time I checked was up to PVE-053) and I can enter any server without problems.

2-Inside the game (with a VPN activated) I've experience no big connection issues but the curious thing is: If I deactivate the VPN (but still connected to the internet of course) the game breaks the connection and prompt me to reconnect over and over. No matter how many times I try, without the VPN I cannot reconnect. The moment I activate the VPN it logs back in without problems and I can keep playing.

In conclusion I have seen this on other games where there's a region ban and I think this may be the case affecting some people. But that's just my guess, I hope this helps solve the issue.

I FOUND A SOLUTION BOIS! DOWNLOAD PROTON VPN AND CONNECT IT TO JAPAN.

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE AND LOG IN YOUR LOST CHARACTER.

I don't think this should be your main concern right now. The game is broken and unplayable in the current state. I am unable to interact with anything and people are saying their bases are gone. Please worry about that first.
