It's like an open world Duck Hunt.
Dunno if they plan to add harder worlds and servers and wanted to ease people into it without scaring the off, but yeah for now you can oneshot everything with a sniper that isnt a boss.
I can run into a room, clear the junk and open a crate while enemies just stand in the room.
Enemies shot in the back will slowly turn around, look at you, continue to eat a lead breakfast, then react after a comically long time. Again, while his buddy reminisces about the days of internet and phone porn, not bothering to acknowledged that death has come.
The world events are either 1) 12 living statues in the fog. Or 2) A horde with a death-wish that will fly straight into a rain of bullets. And fishing, that works fine.

This is the unfortunate truth. Any difficulty will always be viewed through the lens of "Can a player kill this group with their fat thumbs covering half the screen?"
If it's a yes, then M&K players will always be Gods.
That's normal for MMOs.
Might not be normal for shooters, but the enemy AI in MMOs has never been complex.
one small corner offering some degree of challenge negates the entire open world and levelling section being face roll pointless?
