Exactly what is this, and why should I let it have access to my machine? I selected cancel on it, and the game logically failed to launch. I see that it is a Chinese tech company, and there have been rumors of another Chinese tech company Huawei spying on users, so I just want to know is this thing safe? What does it have access to when it is running? Will it uninstall when I uninstall the game? Etc...

it's netease, the gameplay is too "mobile game" look and mechanics, it's gonna be P2W anyway, why bother install

they also made Mobile apex legends, when the game closed, they stole all the assets and made their own "mobile apex" ripoff... netease is a disgrace for gaming in general. every single game they make, its either a ripoff and/or p2w

Just have some fun in the demo, netease easily removed afterwards. If your concerned about privacy, there isn't any, probably your data's been sold hundreds of times.

This game isn't safe. Use Network telemetry to see this game has actual spyware... I uninstall it immediately once I saw all what was happening...

Totally the same. What difference does it make whether the US got your data or China? Serious question. You think the USA don't have any nefarious schemes just because - what? They're the USA? Well, got news for you - the USA are about to go down the drain and drag the rest of the world down with them.

USA and Europe only admit once called out by whislteblowers. Nobody remembers how politicians around the world were being spied upon and having their phones monitored?
The game is decent and the demo so far has been fun. These days most games cannot be played offline so it does not really matter where they are made as they all scrape data from users. the only way to be 100% safe from data scraping spying and being checked on by governments is to live off grid and no internet. Anyways its a game and in my opinion less intrusive than google with its massive intrusion into peoples personal search queries etc then using the data to sell crap you never needed or wanted to you.

If you worried about data then pay for something like “Aura” which constantly scans the dark web etc for your data and removes them. I personally don’t care as I have no data that’s worth anything. But I use Aura so websites don’t share my email so I don’t get spam’s

Tried to run the game, stuck at verifying download 0%, only solution is to disable every security so the game can "verify" a download? From China? well, my prayers for who accepted this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

EDIT: Tried again, admin mode and a few other steps (without making myself vulnerable) and didn't work. Also the discord is full of bots, comments like "take my money", "game is awesome, how can it be free?" no help from administration so far. HUGE RED FLAG.
