How do you pass the "Dance like a goth" part?
I've done the ddr segement numerous times but I always get the you failed message "you dance like a comformist pop star" is this intentional? I'm getting very frustrated cause the game doesn't point me to any solution and I can't progress the game at all. I would really not like to start the game over.

use arrow keys, not wasd

Yeah just found that out from another discussion thread. Thanks! It's kind of dumb because the game never makes you use the arrow keys up until this point and they don't even tell you to use them. /:

As someone said it's the Arrow keys not the WASD keys. there are few other things to take note as well to make it easier which I talked about in the Achievement guide I made for the game. Since this is one of the steps need for one of the Secret Achievemenets.

Yup,

-doing nothing at all

-any other possiable combo

then i recalled another game that forced you to use arrows keys.. i was setting off my v-chip.

Ditto, I also tried doing everything wrong, but the arrow keys actually make sense when you think about it.
It's all about not conforming and we can probably agree that the majority prefers WASD as opposed to the arrow keys :)

I think a lot of people are missing the central theme for this part of the quest. Goths are all about nonconforming. No one uses the arrow keys. That's what it means to be goth.

Which is both subtle and hilarious. All the people who keep failling over and over again are failing because they are littearly to conformist. Its a great hidden joke.

Or it just might be an oversight on the developer's part. I think you people are trying too hard to be "clever" when the obvious answer is that it wasn't coded correctly. Want proof? Play the sleep song with Jimmy the bard. You can't use WASD there either, only arrow keys. That part of the game has nothing to do with Goths.

Also it's not that hilarious.

I think you are reading way to much into this.

jimmy's Lute playing also uses the arrows to make the targets fall asleep.

interestingly i was using wasd and the spell was working even though when i used the arrows it was clearly registering the blue rings as success instead of the red rings (which i though were success) while using WASD.

I think it always works, but registering it with arrow keys make them sleep longer. Whenever I fail or use WASD the mobs all sleep but wake up right away next turn(without me hitting them).

This.
Its not about nonconformism, cause the bard use the same sistem
