After Team Sonic Racing I wouldn't put my hand in the fire for that new game, but I can't deny that I'm very excited about the fact that they haven't forgotten the Racing saga yet. I'm the first one who would like to see another game as good as Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed.

They'd better get online right this time. I bought a year's worth of PSO cuz this game kicked so much ass I was hyped for TSR and then it was DoA and never fixed.

Yeah, I would've been excited, but Team Sonic Racing exists. They could've fixed the game, but chose to ditch it.
Honestly, already looks like we got another Team Sonic Racing on our hands.

If I were you, I wouldn't expect a Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed 2. It should be noted that this new game will not be developed by Sumo Digital as we are used to, but by Sega Hardlight, with the good and bad things that entails. So yes, I would go with an open mind.

Didn't Sega Hardlight make Sonic Dream Team? I heard that game was actually pretty good (aside from being exclusive to apple products)
That's right. Sega Hardlight specializes in mobile games. I'm not saying it's going to be a bad game, but it's probably going to be very different from previous games in terms of gameplay, or who knows. I'm skeptical because it's in the hands of another developer and I don't want the hype to ruin the experience for me. Still, I'm glad the series is coming back, and I hope it's a good game that makes Sega interested in making more spin-offs of this type again.

I'd rather see what the gameplay is like before I judge it either way. The title at least implies a return of the allstars formula, but at the same time.....Just saying CrossWorlds.....somehow implies more??? I dunno.... I mean, if it was Sonic and SEGA All-Stars, it would actually say it, right?

I think that's a huge missed opportunity since they're bringing back all of these old SEGA IP's for new games. Now would be the perfect time to make a new All-Stars game. A little disappointing if you ask me. I was really hoping I'd get to race around the Persona world or play as Joker in the Morgana van.

lol not a persona fan but after seeing how well recieved the persona stage in Smash Ultimate was (and how its visuals change depending on music) that would have been an awesome addition.

The developer Sumo had similar errors with Hotshot Racing (which has identical system requirements) but had fixed that title. Somehow Sega and Sumo hadn't implemented these fixes to make online stable.
