Metal Sonic DLC Worth it?

Just got the game from the Amazon DD Sale but the DLC is not discounted so I didn't pick it up. Is it worth it?

Metal sonic is a good character to race with, his console mod is among the best in the game and outrun bay is a nice looking track. The only downside is you can not race the dlc track online unless you create your own lobby and invite friends. It's not a track that was added to the regular online game.

Metal Sonic is a very high-end character with an amazing console mod that comes with the DLC purchase (no grinding to get your mods!). In fact, he's considered by many to be a "tier 1" character for races. I personally have one of the fastest Dragon cup GP times using Metal Sonic!

However, you can mimic his stats by unlocking right mods at other characters. Example: Metal's Console Mod is 5/1/1/5. Shadow's Console Mod is identical 5/1/1/5.

I think that it's up to you. If you like the character, then you can easly take a DLC. Metal is a badass villain. But, if he is meh to you, then you can pass.

Whereas Metal Sonic has similar stats to other characters (such as the Shadow comparison NBlast made), his vehicle at least feels smaller than other character's vehicles. This makes it much easier to land flips than with characters like Sonic or Shadow.

Because of how much I love the boating physics in this game, Outrun Bay became one of my personal favorite tracks. However, I know some people have a really difficult time with the boating physics, so it's very much a matter of personal taste.

It's worth it both for the character and the new tracks.

I personally bought it more for the track than for Metal Sonic. That said, Metal Sonic is a pretty decent racer.

I think its worth it for the track, and metal sonic is a decent racer. The only beef I had with him is I wished I could level him like the rest of the racers. He comes fully leveled.

Yeah, get the DLC. Metal Sonic is an amazing time time trials character.

EDIT: Nah Joe Musashi has the best all-star music!

Its well worth it, Also Outrun is amazing :x

Metal Sonic, Shadow, and Vyse all have the exact same console mod.

Hell, one could even say that Metal Sonic is a Shadow with different models.
