The only thing I can suggest is pick mods to fit each challange, boost mods for ring and boost races, handling for drift challanges, etc.
Now if you try to do time attack, specially roulette road and chilly castle, that right there is difficult.
Begin with the Ring Races, can easily be done. Next, Versus Races. Battle Races are doable also. Races next, with some time can get done. Drift Challenges can be hard, as Pursuits. However, Pursuits can give you good tips to improve yourself. The most difficult of all are Traffic Attacks.
The best way to get better when you think you reached the maximum are the Time Attacks. Fighting against ghosts are a really great way to improve yourself, to know how and when to drift, stunts, etc.
Good luck! Don't give up! And don't swaer to much on Traffick Attacks...
I only have the game for 2 months and havent touched a rally game since Lotus 3. Didnt expect such progress.
But I spent more time in grand prix and single race challenges rather than World Tour mode.
Unlocked every mod through Grand Prix for all characters in Expert. this took many hours.
But now the game reached the stage where you have to be 100 % concentrated and avoid mistakes. Or be lucky enough to finish 1st in some races.
things get harder after 180 stars.
QFT.
I remember being able to get up to 180 by just clearing events on A-Class, and a couple of S-Class races. The races, sprints and battle races are easy stars to collect on Expert. It's those damn drift and boost challenges that get the best of me.
Quite a few of the advanced racers will say the game isn't THAT challenging, but it is. It is refreshingly difficult, and you will get a sense of real satisfaction when you clear a challenge. The difficulty, at times, reminds me of the harsh difficulty from old SEGA games like Super Hang On.
Also. You can do it. Many people did, you also can!
