PC Version vs Wii U Version
To all those that own this game, do you feel it's worth picking up on the PC versus the Wii U version? Will I miss anything by picking up the Wii U version over the PC version? I'm tempted to get this game, but am unsure which platform to get it for... Any help would be appreciated!

PC for sure, not only does the PC actually get more updates it has more characters too! And the online isn't dead, players happen to hold tournaments just for fun here.

I actually found another post similar to this - it definitely sounds like the PC version is superior to the console versions across the board. I may have to wait until I can get a gamepad though - it sounds like this game is not too good if played on a keyboard.

I've never really played on a keyboard, some people here have but I would recommend a controller.
There's a couple mutiplayer modes exclusive to the Wii U version, and the ability to play as your Mii but that's it. The PC version has more updates, more DLC, more characters, better online, and better graphics. I also heard that the Wii U version has some potentially game-breaking glitches in the career mode that make 100% completion impossible.
If you want you can use your Wii U gamepad on your PC through Bluetooth. Not sure how well it works though seeing how it's still in beta.

It was on the first day of release. It's been patched since then.

I still love my Wii U version though. If you want 5 player local play, the Wii U version is the way to go however I will agree though the PC version is obvious superior.

the PC version has more exclusive character than the consoles does, just use a gamepad/controller for it, pretty much the same thing

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Added the game to my wishlist and will pick up for the PC once I've gotten over Bravely Default, which currently is holding up any new purchases for the next few months. :golem:

I'd keep an eye on Steam and Green Man Gaming sales. It seems to get discounted fairly often, so you may be able to net it for a mere $5. With an extra $2-$3 if you opt to get Metal Sonic + Outrun Bay and Ryo.

Hahaha, wow. Yeah, I'm pretty sold on the PC version at this point. For the record, I play on my PC more than any of my consoles these days, but the idea of owning a Sonic title on a non-console environment just... I dunno. lol I'm just old like that.

But yes - I love racing games, so once I get this game, I'll look for you!
