-93.7% of players bought the game and played at least once.
-Of the 93.7%, 15.7% dropped the game 1 hour in and never played again.
-Of the 93.7%, 39.5% of the players didn't go through the apartments.

I agree with you. I watched a walkthrough of Silent Hill 2 Remake and while I appreciate the effort, I'm not entirely convinced it justifies the $69 price tag. The monster design, in particular, feels generic and lacks the iconic horror that the series is known for. While I've enjoyed the Resident Evil series, I feel that Beyond Hanwell offered a more compelling horror experience at a much lower price point. I hope future updates or DLC can enhance the game's overall value."

Guys, please, are you even trying at this point? Monster designs are direct replicas of mobs from SH2.

Still waiting for that link to 10 million sales needed.

Here's modern audience, no longer interested in finishing what they started. And I'm not even talking games. You give them 50 page book, and I guarantee they won't finish it. How the fk they even finish schools today is beyond me. Given schools actually teach them something, anything.....

OP time to take your tin foil hat off, you're looking for conspiracies where there is none. Some people play games to finish them (I am one of those people) ,while others are happy to get a few hours out of the game before they flit off to the next best thing vying for their attention. Just because they didn't finish the game doesn't mean they enjoyed it any less than somebody like me who will finish it.

We don't live in a world of purely black and white. There are lots of shades between those two colours. I would have thought you would have figured this out by now seeing as though you made it to adulthood.

Also why are you so dead set on putting people into boxes? Each person is his/her own person and can do as they please, so what if only 20% saw the end of the game but 15% dropped it after an hour.

With you lot its never about conspiracies and statistics because you want to control the narrative and make sure everyone else falls in inline with your opinion, someone who refuses to allow anyone to disagree with them. Maybe that sort of thinking flies in your real life community but it ain't gonna fly here.

You guys are so silly to reply to them. Their "NO, U" attitude is unbreakable !

As long as they're not giving him Steam Awards making fun of him is fine.

I don't let myself be insulted gratuitously. Even if he's a troll.
Well then you are wasting yout time, I'm afraid.
See how the troll avoided my comment ? They replied to someone else, so they do monitor this conversation.
When you call a troll out directly, they just shy away, and you take the wind of their sail.
Being "reasonnable" does not work, for anybody!

artificial hype and bandwagoning simple as that. Big e-celebs, gaming journalists sites like ign etc they create the "hype" and uneducated folk follows next big thing, trending stuff etc they come they buy they consume to feel they are part of the big moment but it last days or few weeks then poof, move onto next big thing. SH2 is no longer relevant, the upcoming hit is dragon age the veilguard.

Preordered the game and got early access. Just beat the game a few moments ago. Got the Maria ending. Fantastic remake. Some people just don't have that much time to dedicate to gaming :lunar2019smilingpig:

I thought it was obvious... Review manipulation. Why are 7% of people who haven't even played the game giving it a positive review?

Hey goofball, Steam literally will not let you review a game you own if you have zero playtime on it, lmao.

Ignorant trolls as usual.
As I said in the last topic about this...

Most players don't finish video games, as much as that continually comes as a surprise to people.

You can see this with even some of the best selling, most popular games on Steam. Maybe not this low of course, and yes, some of these games take longer to beat, but not all of them do by any means. And it's pretty revealing.

Only 30% of players have completed Skyrim's main quest on Steam.

Only half of players completed Portal.

Less than 20% of players on Steam have any of the Cyberpunk 2077 ending achievements.

Less than half of people on Steam finished Journey. Journey! A game that can literally be completed in 2-3 hours, with minimal effort.

A lot of people just never finish their video games. Or start them then consign them to their backlog until a later date. 🤷🏻‍♂️
