Just saying.
This grilled cheese I made is delicious. Just sayin'.
Oh... I thought we were playing the "State the obvious" game.
Not if you are lactose intolerent.. Just sayin'
:D
It's not really mod abuse, it's dev abuse. I don't think shoe or finn are remotely bothered with comedy youtube clips. I know I am not. Some people are pretty sensitive though.
Lactaid pills go a long way and I'm lactose intolerant. Just sayin'. *Punched in the face*
I think there were a couple times where someone was banned for putting up a few videos, but that was a long time ago, if I recall correctly. There's been a few bannings I really don't agree with, but then there's been others where I totally agree with them. I still don't see any of the mods around here anymore, specifically Finn. I have seen a little bit of Shoe, but I think the both of them are waiting around until they're specifically mentioned or are needed.
Now, to test my theory, I'll start on my summoning circle to call upon Shoehead.
Speak of the Devil.
It's pretty unfortunate that Steam doesn't have some way of showing everyone else just what someone's been banned for, or for how long. Or by who for that matter, but yeah I banned a heap of people this week, mainly it was the goobers telling random people the game's dead when they ask about it. Someone else for saying they wanted to stab someone, someone for linking some dodgy sign up for Heart of the Swarm.
TBH the loudest dissenters get left alone here, mainly because they know how to voice their opinions without being jerks to each other, at this point I just close the "QUIT WHINING" threads because I figure it's just someone coming along looking for a fight
I would, but I don't believe in black magic.
Tweed because he is funny in a child-like way. And Merlin because he is a magician (or is it a wizard).
edit:(1) i remember when shoehead first came to this forum and banned a bunch of people for reporting him for being too eager to ban people. hmm i think if got a screen cap of that post.
edit(2) oh and starbug marlin was a druid :-P
Yeah, the stabbing guy and the dodgy URL guy were most definently needed. Remember kids, never click a shortened URL unless you know who it's from. If a stranger sends you a URL you don't know, that's nooooo good.
I like to think I'm keeping things somewhat civil, even when I do slip up and become a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I should really learn not to post on the rough days. Also my summoning circle worked, awesome. Maybe next time I'll try summoning a poutine.
One can only wonder the progress that could have been made on the game If the mods spent 25% of that energy bashing the community to helping the game develop.
Appear that the main current disagreement remain this one:
"
*Please Note*
There has been a long amount of time since the last Stable update. The devs have decided that they want to release one giant, content-full patch next, and not smaller patches more frequently. Larger patches require more time than smaller patches, but also contain a lot of changes. If you would like to preview those changes, play Nightly (read THIS thread from Maxwell Demonic on how to do that).

Taking so long to produce an update is not really usual in the ea industry. But's it's an interesting choice even if the cost is the current "toxic" mood around here or elsewhere, ... => wich give some more work to the mods (shrug) ...
oh Gods not the Big update excuses a again . i have been hearing that one for over a year now
lack of updates are just a symptom of the problem. people were angry with chucklefish long before the beta.
