what are the best tools/mech attachments?

Mech weapons are a matter of preference.

I tend to have one melee (drill usually) and one ranged weapon. Best I can make till I reach top tier.

Modded games change that up a bit (especially if you have npc mechs)

yeah, bit offtopic but drill is def the best melee, i want to know about the best stuff for mechs AND tools (lets say the railgun is the best which it actually isn't)

I'd agree with the drill, it not only can mine and be a weapon, but it's a personal shield as well.

For the other arm, I like the energy rifle. Powerful and accurate, plus decent range so you can hit some stuff off the screen.
