Getting rid of your stupid pet

Is it just me or is the pet on your ship one annoying little ****er.

He's constantly moving in front of the captains chair or the teleporter when I'm trying to use them. I figured there'd be a mod to remove the little b******, but looking through the workshop I didn't see anything.

Am I alone here? or is there some trick to keeping him out of the way that I don't know about?

Altho maybe you didn't realise it.. and had seen this one. It makes ships pets purchaseable so you can buy whichever one you want.. even from a race you are not playing. BUT! in doing so it starts you out with *no* ship pet at all.

If you never want one simply do not buy one ever :) they are 2500px and pretty impossible to accidentally buy.

There is a mod for it.

But mods aside what you do is after a few ship upgrades you'll probably get lower floors. Then you trap it down there. And unless you build it some way back up it'll be trapped.

Wow I saw that purchasable pets mod but it never dawned on me that it might remove your starter pet (and since I hated the pet anyway I wasn't interested in checking out more you could buy lol)

Thanks! Now I can get rid of that annoying little ****er for good! Hooray!
