Why not doing crafting using resourcers from nearby containers?

Well this have in terraria when you put your things in a chest and you still can craft items if you are close to this chest, there is a mod for this?

iirc in Terraria it wasn't implemented for quite a while, thought yes - now that it's here it helps a lot.
As for mods - can't tell, I'm playing vanilla still but mayking a list of what I might be trying later, so whould like to here about that too.
