HUD not showing health bar, nor items, nor souls.

The ingame HUD just doesn't show up. Regardless of whether i have DSfix or not.

Monsters' health bars don't show up either.

I've used DSfix's options to toggle the HUD off and on, but it just takes effect on the pause HUD.

DSFix's HUD modifications don't render properly, and they don't get the ingame HUD to show.

I don't know if it's related, but my hair doesn't render either. My character is supposed to have a long beard, but he looks beardless and bald.

I've tried everything, looked everywhere, but nobody seems to have the same problem. I've ran out of ideas and fighting bosses without health bar is too annoying.

It might be a little bit obvious, but have you checked your ingame settings? Options-> Display Hud or something like that.

I think i heard some time ago that there was a button you could press to clear the screen for screenshots... maybe look into that?

My ingame settings are limited to controls, resolution, antialiasing and motion blur. I'll recheck'em again, but I haven't seen anything related to the HUD.

The button is (as I configured it) LCONTROL. And as I said in my first post, it only affects the pause HUD.

It's in the Options, not PC settings.

Screen info was unchecked by default.

did you alt-tab at some point? whenever i alt tab, my everything disappears, including the 'pause' and equip, etc. menus.

I haven't alt-tabbed since the problem was solved, but before, alt-tabbing didn't change anything on the hud. Pause hud still working.
