Other than that the only heavier ones I think of would be Black Iron from Tarkus' corpse in Anor Londo by the Painted Guardians, Giants armor from the blacksmith in Anor and Havel's armor behind the illusionary wall in Anor Londo past Solaire's bonfire.

Your own opinion, you may like to jump and dance around like a fairy while others like to have big heavy strong armour. Also impossiable for something in a lower class to be better then something in the higher class. Even upgraded I have yet to find any medium armour that out classes heavy armour. Now they do come close but that is a diffrent story. Besides the op wants to know where the earliest set of heavy armour is not whether heavy is better or worse then others.
But armor is almost completely useless anyways. I can have full upgraded havels armor and take a hit and get lets say 500 out of 1000 if i went naked and took the same hit i would take like 600. So its better to dodge anyways and fast rolling gives you invincibility frames. Heavy armor looks sweet but it serves no purpose. Fashion Souls. Its almost as useless as resistance
