Apparently there is, since I vaguely remember one of those videos with NG+7 / always gravelorded mod mentioning it somewhere - but I don't know the details. Sorry if that's not enough information, maybe you can check the comments in one of those "Oro and Peeve" videos. Good luck! :)

Am, yes it is. Why don't you that question to youself? Go look at the wiki/google/youtube for that.
"After the seventh playthrough is completed, the game will no longer increase in difficulty after it restarts. NG+7 and any subsequent playthroughs are a repeat of NG+6. It is a common misconception that NG+7 is the highest difficulty"

FS like the number 7, but it in this case the 7th playthrough is ng+6.

He is right. NG+6 IE the seventh playthrough is the highest it goes.

pasted from wiki.dot:

Description

After the ending of the game a new game will start. This is called New Game Plus (NG+). New Game Plus begins after you have defeated the final boss, Gwyn, Lord Of Cinder. The game begins again, allowing you to keep most of your gear and items, but with increased difficulty. After NG+ is completed, the game will continue onto NG+2 with slightly increased difficulty again. This continues all the way to "New Game Plus 6" (NG++++++).

After the seventh playthrough is completed, the game will no longer increase in difficulty after it restarts. NG+7 and any subsequent playthroughs are a repeat of NG+6. It is a common misconception that NG+7 is the highest difficulty.

Yeah im sure the game data has 8 different difficulties to chose from just for fun. BUT IF THE WIKI SAYS SO ...
ItsRay Mar 26, 2014 @ 10:06am
rofl now that you've been proven wrong you have to insult.

Yup, thats how I know my clueless wannabe smartasses :D
Coin Mar 26, 2014 @ 10:08am
Stop trolling dude. That's a fact that dif. cap is +6.
Maechen Mar 26, 2014 @ 10:09am
He wasn't proven wrong at all. He is correct. Your assumption NG+7 is the highest difficulty was wrong.

"because I said so" is not proof.

Because the wiki says so, right? And the programmers made 8 different difficulties into the code just for fun, yup, sounds logical.
