Anyone here selling a steam key or know the best place to find one?
Yes I know these are worth gold, it just doesn't hurt to ask

Edit: I have no problem playing the Remaster I simply wanted to get the achievements on both versions on PC. I've done the same thing on console.

Because it's an unauthorized grey-market site, where you can't ever be sure, if a key's legit or won't be revoked at some point.
But that's the only place to even get a key anymore, other than maybe a lucky find of a physical copy for the GFWL version on some thrift store with the key not having been activated on Steam yet.

But yeah just get DS:R. You won't get PtdE cheaper than 250€ at this point (which is a ridiculously scalped price) and DS:R is virtually identical with a higher FPS and uncapped resolution out of the box, some minor tweaks and less shinier armor.

If you really, REALLY need to play the old version, you can get a used PS3+DS1 for way less than half the price of a PC key on the grey market.

Like other people points the only thing you can do is to give up and get DS: Remastered.
I know it's not perfect but it is what it is. In my case I was so angry and furious at the publisher that I put my old PS3 to work again and then I shopped online for a physical copy.. not only I did find it cheaper than the Steam digital copy, but I did find a Japanese SEALED copy just for the sake of it (and because Bandai left me malding xd).

Turns out that by doing that not only I felt happier with myself but also the whole ordeal costed me less than $200 bucks.

best chance you have is getting one from some local/ national store, bought mine earlier this year when i found it online for 50 euro's

Probably ebay, or any other second hand online retailer.

Yes and those achievements would also carry over to "your game", if you ever manage to find a gift/key and activate it yourself.

You don't, you just need someone sign in on your PC, tick the box, sign out then you can play whenever they're not playing anything until access is revoked.

I'm not sure if you are still looking for a key, but I have one for the remaster. I've had it since (7 Feb 2021, 20:52:38) and kept it in my email this entire time (I have a folder titled DON'T DELETE where I put all my steam keys in, mainly pre-order keys. I also ended up getting the Stalker 2 key early and its currently sitting in my steam library. not sure if they did that by mistake, but I think it's cool of them.)

I accidentally bought 2 keys instead of 1 through CDKeys...... don't ask me how I managed to do that, I must of had a long day or something. just message me and I'll send you the code.
