It is a game filled with nostalgia and good feels. There have been vast improvements to game play compared to the original Harvest Moon AWL which made the experience that much more enjoyable. It got a bit slow and repetitive in year 5 and 6, however, i partially blame myself because i was aiming to try and complete as much as i could in the first few years (catching fish, all hybrid crops, recipes, etc). My recommendation is to take your time and just enjoy the story. All in all, my only major critique would be the lack of festivals (although they kept true to the original game), i would've liked to see more variety.
