Solution to run the game on Windows 10

Go to properties, in General tab, uncheck "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game"

Didn't work. Tried running as admin and xp service pack 2 compatibility and that didn't work either.

I'd already tried run as admin and checking compatibility mode. This was the change that got everything working. Thanks!

i was playing this game with steam family veew end the game is crashing on the end of the 4th mision i wana buy it but the game is crahing alot

I can't run it too. The game starts, resolution is changing and then game goes down to the taskbar. I hear 2 seconds of lagged intro music. And the game shutdown itself. I tried every single method. Changing compatibility, turning off the overlay, running as administrator. And other few things. OMG

I tried to run it with +datacachesize "128" +map_background none -novid. And it dont shutdown the game no more. But it is frozen on the first screen with game logo. And it minimalize itself to the taskbar every time I click it.

Runs with no problems and steam overlay in 1080p under Win11.
I see no reason why it should not run under win10
