Puzzle games like this one are played better with a mouse or a touch screen in my opinion.

its actually not too bad with controller only, mouse might even be worse off, bc you csan slip off the path fillin in spots and get an error by mistake.

Welp keyboard button can be "sticky" sometimes too and when you stop click it, it's still click aka sticky keys...
Btw every device can be "sticky" and it's doesn't matter mouse,controller or etc.It's depend most of time work your device properly or not.
