Not everyone have fast internet (fiber optic), myself included. I have slow Comcast internet :( so pre-loading games is an awesome option for me if I want to play any game at launch, I want to play this game at launch and not wait for it to download, I'm hoping this has pre-loading.

Comcast having a legalized monopoly in multiple areas in the U.S. really sucks, because faster internet providers such as Google Fiber cannot move in and build out a fiber infrastructure because Comcast has a monopoly.

Yup same here, playing at launch would be great . Even in Malaysia internet speed is pretty bad in general, so i am truly hoping ample amount of days before the games release. (4 to 5 days would be just nice i think)

I am included (unfornatualy) with the Comcast internet so pre-loading is a advantage for me. (Luckly we are upgrating the internet)

Pre-loads ~generally~ tend to be made available approx a week before launch, but there is no hard and fast rule about it.

Well it's been a week before the release and yet we get no preload. Only one can wait for it.

Most of the times I see the preload pop up about 48 hours ahead of time. Would be nice if they would make it earlier this time though given that it's over 50 Gigs.

yeah, 50 gigs is a lot.

My preload finished about 8 am in the morning. It took about 8 hours and a half to complete the download.

You have yet to prove that you preloaded the game. The screenshot you posted on another thread didn't show the game as installed or downloading.

If we're to judge by the past... and the ten thousand games that have already launched on Steam... a triple-A title such as this will have a pre-load by the weekend.

My guess is Thursday or Friday.

For Steam Store but not download games.
