Texture pop in question
Is there a way to reduce the horrible texture pop ins ?

from the ini file or something ?

it's really killing the game for me.

I tried messing around with texture pool sizes and caches in the .ini files. Nothing seemed to make a difference. I still get noticeable pop-in on a fast SSD.

Did you try editing the baseengine.ini file?

Like many other unreal games you change MipFade speeds to 0. Gonna give it a shot now.

Ok tried and looks like it works. There is a texture draw distance that will still keep some textures lower quality.

Full path (using default install):
steam/steamapps/common/Batman Arkham Knight/Engine/Config
Edit the BaseEngine.ini
Use ctrl + f to find MipFade. There will be 4 of them. Just set them all to =0.
Note that I am running the game from an SSD and it is not recommended with HDDs but you can always try to 1/4 or 1/4 the values.

I had this issue when I set the max framerate to 60. It seemed to fix itself when I put it back down to 30.
