Korriban?
In the first game, Korriban was one of the best planets, with so much to do and a variety of challenges in the tombs in the Valley of the Dark lords. The whole process of gaining prestidge at the academy was pretty fun.

Because of this, I was excited to finally visit Korriban in this game (Kotor 2) but was disappointed by the lack of things to do. You can't go into any of the old tombs and can't go to Dreshdae. You can 'finish' the whole planet in about an hour which is pretty shocking for a Kotor game. The only 'planet' with less stuff to do would have to be the Yavin space station in Kotor 1 or perhaps Paragus.

What do you guys think of Korriban in Kotor 2?

The utter lack of content is due to yet another of the game's infamous cuts. Orignally, you were supposed to travel to M4-78, a planet inhabited entirely by droids, which was cut (though you can play it as part of the restored content mod).
Really, Korriban was just a quick replacement using pre-existing assets from KoTOR 1 when Obisidian realized they couldn't finish M4-78 in time.

Yeah and the tomb in the cave is just artificially lenghtened with annoying cutscenes and spread out map. It would have been perfectly okay to cut the corridors down to one third their lenght.

That Revan fight is hard ... how many of you can manage it?

If he beats you he drags you to the dark side it seems, right? I'm finding it hard to max out Light side to get the bonuses ... damnit!

I leave Korriban to last so it is pretty easy by then.

Just prepare before the fight by placing tons of cheap mines and lure him to follow you through them all. He just dumbly trips on them and dies.

He hits pretty hard and has 100+ saving throws, but that's all. Totally manageable.

Not true, TSLRCM and M4-78EP are totally seperate entities.

The saving throws don't matter when he dumbly runs and trips every single one of the cheap plasma/frag mines you place in the corridor towards his chamber and just run away, possibly throwing some force lightning or something at him to bizz him off.

Well, I don't use mines. Melee is good enough. Any melee 1 on 1 fight in kotor 1 and 2 is tipped in player's favor, no matter how hard the opponent hits or how beefy he is.
