Stutter issues because of mouse

The stuttering / bad fps is because of my mouse for some reason.

I'm running the game on my laptop, and i have a plugged in mouse.
If i move around with my mouse pad (the mouse on the laptop) nothing goes wrong and I'm playing at 100+ fps.
However, the moment i start moving my normal mouse that's plugged into the laptop, stutters begin (in-game or in-menu).

This is a... weird issue.

Turning on Hardware Cursor in the options helps a bit, but the issue still persists.

I probably have the same issue; it's unplayable. Can literally just constantly move my mouse and I won't see a new frame until i let it stop. I can kinda fix it by lowering my mouse polling rate, but it's still ass.

Hopefully they fix this, but I saw a post somewhere about this same issue like a month ago so idk.

If anyone has a fix that isn't lowering my mouse settings to the point it feels like ♥♥♥♥; pls

honestly probably an engine thing epic would have to fix.

What you describe is using too high polling rate. Usually 1000hz is fine do you have a mouse that can do higher than that? Have you tried changing it to 500hz? What CPU do you have? I've got my Corsair wired mouse set to 1000hz and not getting mouse stutter.

Turn your mouse down to 500hz polling rate. I noticed mine ran like crap too and for whatever reason I noticed it was only when I was moving my mouse. I have a Glorious Model D Wireless and opened up the software to see what my polling rate was. It was set to 1,000hz so I set it down to 500 and all the mouse moving stutter went away. Hope this helps? Also I'm running 5900x with 7900xtx on a samsung 32:9 at 5120x1440.

Same issue here doesnt mater what graphic setting is used low or ultimate, moving mouse makes the game stutter after some time, i have ryzen 5800x and rtx 4070ti.

try low settings on mouse also update driver.

for me it was overlay issue from geforce experience overlay. Game had 120 fps but moment i move mouse it went to 1 fps when i closed all apps that have game overlay or multi screen overlay no issues in game.

I had the same problem, going from fullscreen to borderless fixed it
