At most you only need $50 or so and you're set for life on your account. If not just the $20 starter pack will give you enough for the essential tabs. (assuming you buy all the tabs during sales)

I'm talking about that... You can grind for the materials to create them. 0.01% drop rate of a random material doing certain quests and then 0.01% chance of opening that material in a colossi boss(can be really hard too) fight to actually get the real component for that specific ultimate character AND you have to do it 4 times. 1 blueprint, and 3 components...

Either spend a chunk of your lifespan grinding for them or spend money for instant gratification.

Warframe bundle was $120 IIRC. But it gives boosts that last 3 months. I always thought it was good value.

Just to clarify for people.

Base level characters are farmable:
Ultimate versions which have better base stats are cashshop only and not farmable.

Ultimate is farmable too but extremely hardcore grind.

Somehow I feel that one $24 component (which doubles mod slots) also takes 3 months to farm so it's just like Warframe

The thing is people compare this to Warframe while in Warframe people can trade off and get both version of character for free.
