Same sentiments it would be another massive grind just for the golden skins.
Maybe something like 5 per skin and make a single achievement for "Unlock any gold skin"
They always expect to get a free ride while people that actually like and play the games would be happy to have something to actually "grind
You should start to just not give us anything for free anymore bc it just ruins all the fun that we could have had.
And deliver a cheat code with every patch so these misled folks can just unlock everything right away.
Best of both worlds right there...
Its meant to be played.
If you want to collect a bunch of irrelevant steam achievements, and then uninstall anyhow, theres 3rd party tools that unlock them all with 1 click...
Let's not be falsely melodramatic about having to play "EVERY" day for "SEVERAL" months, these will just unlock over time... Kind of funny because most of you seem to be incremental games enthusiasts as well.
Weak minds should steer clear of achievement hunting
Well I "only" got 56 Hours in the game, but I have unlocked most Meta upgrades and it's quite fun playing normal runs that way. But, daily challenges force you to play with only a limited number of upgrades, which feels weak, slow and tedious sometimes... And you have to do that about 50 times, for >30 min each... This is just not fun. IMO it's against the principle of the whole sub-genre where you get stronger with every run.
Now you can argue something like "Just don't get the achievements", but I completed the game after each EA Update and always had fun with the new challenges. And now I just want to be able to tag it as complete and finish it with a happy feeling. I have more than enough games that I don't want to spend 25+ additional hours only for some skins... Also I don't want the "cheat" any achievements. That's cheap....
You either put in the extra time for your own satisfaction or simply drop it if it's too much of a hassle and move on to something more enjoyable.
There are just too many factors beyond one's control that can deny completion. Better get used to it rather than letting yourself and your enjoyment be influenced negatively by a mere statistic.
Personally, I'm just grateful for the extra goals and how everything is achievable.
Seems like the developers have once again shown how accommodating they are by reducing the cost to 3 badges, yet some people are still going to complain somehow...
