Is it just me, or does Sonic Colors Ultimate not play very well?
I've only ever played Colors on the WII at a friends house for a bit, so its been a long time since I last touched it. Sonic in this game feels really stiff to control, and I'm not sure if this is just how Sonic played on the WII, or if Blind Squirrel Games just screwed up how he feels to play. I booted up Generations to see if maybe my memories of Modern Sonic controlling well when it came to the boost formula were off. But no! He feels much smoother and less clunky to control. WTF?

Another broken Sonic game by SEGA.

A lot of the newer Sonic games are "stiff" including Unleashed and Colors before Generations, even Frontiers is very stiff compared to Generations until you change the settings around.

I don't like when the camera pans out and Sonic is too small. Also some areas have the end area out of sight and some areas I don't want to revisit after I clear them, let alone try to get an A or S ranking.

The Adventure games were stiff as well.

The Adventure games were anything but stiff. They're very tight and responsive with a proper sense of flow and momentum regardless of who you were playing as.

Stiff controls better describe games like Sonic 2006 and Lost World which lack a lot of the flow and responsive control the other 3D Sonic games had, with the latter having a run button for basic movement.
