Were all/most of the glaring launch issues for this game fixed?

I got a bunch of games during the Spring Sale and I'm enticed by that 70% markdown, so I wouldn't mind this one being my last buy but I don't wanna spend money on it if it's still excruciatingly glitchy.

Played on the Wii back in 2010 and am pretty nostalgic for it (was a freshman in high school when it came out lol), would be pretty neat to jump back in considering I haven't played it since.

They were fixed when I played it back in 2022 on Epic and early 2023 Steam release. The most glaring bugs were faked by people trying to emulate the switch version

Oh damn you know what, I actually remember that lol. I remember reading it was all emulators. Totally forgot. Thanks for the clarification.

Played it across two different systems 3 times no issues at all modded or un-modded.

Looks like they fixed the audio glitch with the weird mixing, woo!
And you can even switch the music back to the original songs, people should search about it instead of just giving a bad review
"what did they do to the music?????" you can switch it back, not modding

Just 100% it today.
The game is great
Although there are some funny glitches (like being stuck on starlight path because of the framerate dropping randomly) or just straight softlocking yourself because Ghost Wisp is barely functional

Also you can change music back to OG

But again, the lack of Video Options is kinda bad and also replacing Lives with Tails Saves feels just wrong. Especially when you get to Gameland levels.
Like, whats the point? Just beating it for the sake of gettung Chaos Emeralds and playing with Super CheapSonic who cant even use its power during Bosses? Give me a break Sega...

Good stuff. I didn't buy it when the sale was going on but I'm leaning towards doing so this summer.
