Bonus points for making achievement hunters suffer, always a pleasure to see.
Regarding the achievements, some where indeed very tricky, i search on youtube for some guides beforehand (having the experience of Bioshock Infinite, which also have a DLC with challenging achievements), and saw people very annoyed like you, BUT I have to say they are very doable, like:
- By my hand alone: a lot of people complain about this one because you have to kill every enemy by yourself, but they could also kill each other, ruining the achievement. I was kinda concerned about this one but literally got it first try just following some of the recomendations, just be fast and use freeze time each round when you got it.
- Daredevil: also a lot of people complain about this one because is partly RNG, but I kinda enjoyed it. Just follow one guide that show how to do the first 2 jumps, and then just play it normally, since the mana is infinite, you can go very fast and get the achievement in not so much tries.
- Headhunter: this one as I see it is the really tricky one because the game does not register headshots that well sometimes, but with enough tries and using the exploit to bypass the final room is doable.
There´s also some tricks or exploits to make the challenges easier, but I didn´t need any of them apart for the one at Headhunter, I would say that if you play first the challenges for fun, and then later go for the achievements it will be much better than to just go for the achievements.
Edit: i mean, yeah. if this dlc doesn't have achievements, i would enjoy this dlc and most people hate it because the some of achievements really hard to get
