Dishonored

Will unlocking the frame cap cause issues?
Sorry for my bed England, but what does FPS cap unlocking do to my game? Is there any harm? I heard that NPC routes and behaviour, as well as game itself do tend to ''break''. Is it true? Why speedrunners play the game on 250 FPS?

Cause Dishonored is from 2012 it still has the in-game physics tied to the framerate so at higher FPS the physics allows various glitches to be performed and thus speedrunners use these glitches to their advantage.

Increasing the FPS could have some weird consequences if you are just playing normally. I would recommend playing at your native refresh rate to avoid these.

So if I play this game at my native fresh rate, which is 75 FPS, will I be okay for good? I'm one of those obsessive folks. I've finished the achievements in Dunwall City Trials and main game a while back but I wanted to do "perfect" run for quite some time, including DLCs. I decided to play the base game and DLCs on high chaos before I start my perfect run to both refresh my memory, and, well, I never played the DLCs until this point. I noticed some issues when I uncapped the game and I wanted to know that if anything above 60 is good. Will 75 be okay or will it cause some small issues on the overall behaviour of the game?

I expect if you play at constant 75 FPS you should be good. I think above 120 FPS is where you might run into problems. Not sure 100% though.
You can run the game at 130fps without having to tweak anything I do believe. I've played a bit with uncapped frame rate (going all the way to 400fps) and the only difference I noticed was walls seemed oddly sticky sometimes. Though I haven't played much of the game with uncapped frame rate so there may be other bugs I have yet to encounter.
From what I know, speedrunners use uncapped fps to make "elevators" easier to perform.

It's a pretty easy change to make so you could always go for it and then revert back if you encounter issues.

At very high framerates (like 300-600 FPS) I have had issues with NPCs not moving and doors to amother area that requires a loading screen impossible to load.
