Have fun!
Besides, just search google or youtube for a beginner guide, this will help you much more than asking questions here.
Idk what you're talking about. The tutorial is excellent and covers all camera controls!
You can either start playing and see how far you get and ask guestions from there or watch a Ireland playthrough on youtube first and then try it.
Make an effort to learn what titles and claims actually mean, how they are inherited, and how to use this to inherit more land or press claims in war.
Also learn how to wage war successfully. The other stuff only really comes with experience.
Ireland is noob island and Ive had many fun games playing it.
If you have the patience to stick with it, it's easily one of the best strategy experiences you can have.
Same as Gabaz, it took me a handful of separate attempts to get into it, but if or when it clicks with you, it's very difficult to put down.
It even forces you to hire mercenaries consisting of only ships in your first war whatsoever so you are able to ferry your troops to the Canaries(?) because you only get 7 ships of your own.
I watched a twitch streamer last weekend who didn't understood it and tried to split his armies to stacks of 700 which doesn't work because ... CK2. After he found that he could raise his vassal forces which he could group to 600 (bc they had no more) he tried to siege the island with them ... but of course they had way more defenders than that.
In the end, the king of Leon died but the tutorial doesn't end there automatically, instead you can still play the game with a dead King (undead maybe?) and he indeed tried to play it for a few years and tried to inthrone his son.
Yeah, it was funny!
Lmao!
I don't think I made it more than ten minutes through tbh.
Camera controls, okay cool got ya. LOADS OF RANDOM POP UPS WITH NO CONTEXR WHATSOEVER, uh, I'll just start a game and use Google...
I might have to check out the undead king though, for the laughs.
My main problem is GOLD.
And a small useless Army.
I tried King Mumu (Ireland), it didn't work. Can't conquer anything.
Spend most of gametime trying to upgrade my Hold, as I thought it would increase my army size and gold but I failed..... :(
I need help
Save your gold early while you get claims on your neighbours, use the gold to hire mercs to overpower them when you have enough. Probably 200 gold should do for one neighbour.
Now you'll have extra territory and holdings, including troops. And can go on to get claims and conquer more neighbours, this time without mercs.
Upgrade your holdings from here, add barracks and militia for more troops.
