The patch made the performance on AMD CPUs slightly better, but it's still disappointing.

OS: Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: GeForce GTX 970 (367.18)
RAM: 16 GB
Bazz Da Machine May 26, 2016 @ 7:13am
Pre-patch i benchmarked 32-50-63FPS, on high setting, hopefully a little better after this update.

OS: Ubuntu 16.04
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: Radeon 7790 (GCN1.1)
RAM: 8GB

Padoka PPA
R600_DEBUG=llvm,sisched,sbcl,forcedma

Make sure you play the game as well as benchmarking, the benchmark is not always a good example of the experience in level. This patch targets frame rate drops in particular so although the peak FPS might only increase a little in the benchmark the experience when running around in game should be markedly smoother for affected users.

I haven't used the Benchmark. I visited some of the campfires of areas which have very low FPS for me (i.e. Shanty Town, Coast Camp). And as I said, the FPS are slightly better now.

I also experiance now some micro stutters when I look around, I haven't had those stutters before. Tried to fix it by deleting the shader cache, but it won't help.

Very nice knowing about all those gl extensions. Especially VAB, buffer storage and DSA.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ .... Now in my R9 380 (AMDGPU) on ULTRA -> mostly 1080@60 O_O (it was before on medium hard to read 60fps)

Now the only thing i miss is 64bit support ;D

Amdgpu-pro installs drivers for version xorg 1.15-1.18 and a link to one of those versions. By default the link points to 1.15-compatible files. You should change the link to point to your xorg version.
