What anti virus are you using?
comodo
Well I've never heard of someone getting a virus warning, may have been related to the exe changing in the recent update? Comodo may have picked up on it...
it seemed to stop steam from updating. closed steam. restarted steam and steam finished the download (whatever it was) Haven' ran BO2 but if i scan the directory it still finds it
try to scan your computer with stinger its a free stand alone virus program that detects 1000+ dangerous viruses and trojans and it gets updated every week with improvements! get it free (it is legal!) here: http://www.mcafee.com/us/downloads/free-tools/how-to-use-stinger.aspx
Kaspersky says mines as clean as a whistle.
Your antiviruse is bad. My antivirus didnt pick any virus In blackops 2 file.
and my BO2 folder is clean too

mine too, Kaspersky is the best

Normally if its infected your Steam Folder its came from somewhere else. If it had of came from a game download then we'd all have it as we all get the same copies of the files as you did.

Comodo is the reason it says it's virus, comodo thinks it's virus but it's not.
Also confirming that Comodo picks up "t6mp.exe" as a virus due to the latest update.
This will just be a fault with Comodo detecting it as a false positive.

To fix it follow this guide:

This virus/ malware file has screwed me up also!! I started having problems with only Black Ops II Multiplayer....several days ago!! Couldn't get into the game......tried everything.....verifying cache.....uninstall/ re-install of BO II Multiplayer......finally, I couldn't get the game to even download from Steam anymore......an error message would pop up saying; "not enough disk space"!!......and I had tons of space!!! All other games were no problem, including BO II Zombies and Campaign!! Only BO II - Multiplayer was affected. I finally decided to uninstall Steam, then re-install. I copied the SteamApps folder to my Desktop, but one file would not transfer.....saying I did not have permission to access it. It was the "t6mp" file.....and, it was located in the "dowloading" folder under the folder; "202990"??? I tried to change/ edit "ownership" of this file........all to no avail!!!! The file was 12.2MB in size, and I am not sure that this is where It's supposed to be located. I isolated the file, and deleted the contents of the original SteamApps folder. I then uninstalled Steam, and re-installed it. I had Comodo scan just this t6mp file, and it came up as Trojan/ malware; "TrojWare.Win32.PkdKrap.ai2@119075059".......I asked Comodo to delete it........and finally, it was gone! I also need to point out, that my system started totally bogging down once I started working on this file, to change permissions etc!!!! Now, I suppose the problem could still be on Comodo's end......however, it sure seemed to have the character of virus/ malware. Hope this helps!!
Update: Forgot to let ya'll know, that this worked for me.........BO II - Multiplayer is finally working again!!
