Its not that the game did not get finished, all they had was the tech demo in the above article also the game did not sell that well so when they approached microsoft for a 2nd installment they passed for now but liked the idea for quantum.

it blows my mind that Alan Wake somehow flopped. it was high quality stuff, with a generous helping of hand-holding that any casual gamer could latch on to. this almost makes me want to cry. really need to get gaming out of this heartless rut, shed a light on the possibilties that exist outside of constantly rehashed mainstream franchises.

3. Whomever you are, if you are reading this...

FOR FU*K SAKES, DON'T BUY QUANTUM BREAK!
If you do, then... You know the rest...

That entire article is written by a literary incompetent who appears who have stepped out of a time machine from 2010. A) Alan Wake isn't an anti-hero in any way. B) No one likes episodic content and there's no evidence to support that Walking Dead was successful because of it's episodic release - more likely it's in spite of.

To the guy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about quantum break, grow up.

Alan Wake sold well over 4.5 million. In no way whatsoever did it "fail". Most exclusives are lucky to get half that.

Sure. We should all grow up. Just close our eyes and pretend everything's fine. It always was. And always will be. Let's show all big companies how supportive we all are. Because we all like everything they sell and every change they make. It's all in the best interest of everyone.
So, please be first to grow up and let others believe in their own opinions. Give a good example.

No, they did that because it was their next project iteration. Along came Micro$oft...
