Mouse doesn't work

I can click on things but the cursor doesn't move. How do I fix this?

I finally found the fix on this one. You can by trial & error navigate through various screens by moving your mouse even though the cursor itself does not move. When & if you get to options, go to video & set up the game to run windowed. Problem fixed!

I'm running my pc through my tv via HDMI cable, this is a common problem with older games, making it windowed is about the only way to fix it.

I just switched mine to Windowed mode and it fixed my cursor problem. That is in fact the fix for the cursor not working. Thanks Excitable Boy!

Windowed mode appears to fix mouse, but skirmishes are crashing every time within seconds in windowed mode...

Windowed mode made the mouse cursor show up for me, but that is a pretty poor way to play the game imo. And, since it would then run at native resolution, any computer with a very high resolution display would mean the UI elements are incredibly tiny since you can't scale them.

If anyone has any info on how to play in non-window mode I'd love to hear it.

I played this game a long time ago and got the 4 pack hoping to have it in our arsenal for "lan parties", so thanks :)

Kinda surprised this worked, but doing this allowed me to run full-screen w/the mouse cursor working fine:

• Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Demigod\bin in file explorer (if you have Steam installed in the default location)
  
• Right+click on Demigod.exe and click properties
  
• Click the "Compatibility" tab
  
• Click "Run this program in compatability mode for:"
  
• Click Windows XP Service Pack 3
  
• Click "Ok"
  
• Go back into Steam and run the game normally.

You may need to have administrator rights when running the game after doing this though, fyi.

tried windowed and yes it worked, but... resolution went to crap and couldn't reach the back buton to get back to main menu screen. please help! running windows 7
