Which current Moba is most similar to Demigod?

Or perhaps I should re-install Demigod. It's been a while though, and I never was any good in the first place.

Reading some articles, between LoL and Dota2, gut feeling says to go with Dota2.

First 3 games copied after DotA 1 = Heroes of Newerth , League of Legends , Demigod . then others like avalon heroes etc :)

demigod was pretty unique moba though i dont think any other is played like that, lol and hon were just clones of dota.

I actually did reinstall Demigod, but the official site was gone, and I didn't know the best place to find the official patches. Plus online multiplayer seems to be taken down, is that correct? I have the original standalone version. I forgot my account info, but the forgot password option wasn't responding, and neither were the other options.

Maybe I should buy the Steam version in a sale, but I kind of don't want to out of principle (paid full price for the game back in the day). And then I'd have to deal with the daunting online community which was the reason I barely played this back then to begin with. <sigh>
I wish they made Demigod 2.

My other option is to wait for Arena of Valor on Switch, which doesn't seem to have a long lasting appeal, but the beta was fun in short bursts, and I can play it on the go, and I don't need to worry about system specs.

I was also looking at differences between LoL and Dota2, but the pure theoretical differences don't help me decide which game would be better for me.

I spent like 9 years in DotA 1 and few more years with DotA 2 also making it a wwhole lot of time of someone's life :) also played Heroes of Newerth & League of Legends 1-2 years ~ .
They are nice AND HoN is epic too but more closer to a dota clone than lol ever was :P like Heroes of Newerth 's PEBBLES = Tiny hero in dota , Witch Queen is Luna Moonfang from DotA 1 , etc...tehre's also some cool mixtures or other new heroes,my fav was SCOUT ,a mixture between Gondar the Bounty Hunter ffrom dota but with Sniper's ultimate :D and in Heroes of newerth the Scout uses a CROSSBOW :X.

IMHO riot games did some shady stuff & marketing i also heard they did blackmail etc ++ League of Legends is too cartoonish for my taste SO the real deal = DotA 2 & DotA 1 are the best for me still.

Heroes of Newerth too dark , League of legends too light (and cartoonish) , DotA 1 & DotA 2 ,the parent of MOBAs remains the best balance in contrast /colours + best heroes balance ever.

VALVE rocks they did a great job with DotA 2 i knew they will since before DotA 2 was released :D even when netcafe dota 1 friends said " oh but it's shooter FPS company and they make DotA 2 in source engine " , i told them " it's VALVE ,they will nail it ,make it one of best games ever if not the best. "

There were other nice ones i wish i could've tried on time like Infinite Crisis with timelines/rifts and Superheroes & Villains like Batman , Superman , The Flash , Joker etc
and does DEADBREED stil have players ?i have to check it out ^_^ + there's other nice ones too on Steam but when i do have time to allocate to a MOBA , DotA 2 takes 80-99 % of it if not 100 :)

Also a great one that's better than SMITE imho + older too a little than Smite, it had VERTICAL gameplay too like you could bounce between pillars / a temple's walls sort of like BATMAN + it had better graphics too not cartoonish like smite ,
++ more game modes ( Capture the Relic ,team deathmatch ,etc )
the moba name FORGE if you can still get it from somewhere like games shops or steamtrades forum idk. MAYBE the Devs sell it to someone that wants to bring it back ,i hope idk ,i hear 1 developer still hosts& plays regularly with some players :D

I havn't found another beautiful MOBA than demigod and paragon since. Anyone can help ?

if you make it crit etc + pwn your mid enemy non stop and gang bottom& top too, he is efficient :) + the move speed bonus for runes in bottle = gg.
