Why did the devs tie brightness to in game shaders ?

Settings, video, screen brightness.

People can't hide when you crank it all the way up.. sorta ruins the game ngl I was stoked when I thought lighting mattered but turns out it doesn't

Has been a thing since early tests, game engine cannot handle with monitor brightness settings.

If you disable this, people will just use ReShade filters instead.

We already do, not much the devs can do with their engine. Just something for people to be aware of.

My brightness has been 100% since i started play tests. There are still pitch black areas in my game.

I heard people increase gamma on their screen to get the advatnage, not brighntess
