How do you make money if this is free? Will it have a price after its launch?

I have a feeling its only free because it has something to do with getting it back on steam after it was taken down.

The main game is normal mode in retrospect, HR has a lot of balance issues and is a one shot fest for most of the time.

I heard its free with limited features, not sure what exactly is limited, maybe the maps?

It's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ actually. You can only go into Normal Dungeons, you can only enter a dungeon with normal gear, so there's no point in extracting with gear except for selling it for gold now. You only get 1 character slot. This is the most literal "demo" version of this game you can play now.

More like a free trial. allows you to try the game but your locked to basic dungeons can't trade with others and only have access to one character then if you like the game you can just buy the legendary access and you get access to everything

Demos back in the day would be just fighter and only goblin caves.

Theres a legendary edition you can buy to get the real game, free to play players only have normals and 1 character etc

Because its a decent enough game that a lot of people will upgrade their versions to legendary.

its not free- its closer to a trial version then a f2p in my opinion.

It's not free, the free status def has something to do with getting people to download it on steam. You'll literally find a paywall after your first match.

The free version is more of an unlimited demo, I think they made a pretty big mistake not advertising that more clearly. The actual price of the game is $30 and includes access to High Roller dungeons (you can use more than grey and white gear) and all character slots.
