Please reconnect controller
Anybody else getting this message when trying to use a 360 controller? It's already connected, and unplugging and replugging makes no difference.

I had the same problem. It seems that a while back I disabled the HID-compliant game controller device in my windows device manager to get the controller to work with another game (I think it was Sleeping Dogs). Enabling it back solved the issue for me.

I'm having the same issue. Tried disable and renable the HID device but not working....

Im having that problem too and the weirdest thing is it worked before :S It might be a driver issue but the controller works in every other game but not in this one.

I just encountered this issue. The game is straight up lying though.
It does in fact detect a controller but says it can't.
I can quit out of that message USING THE CONTROLLER.
So, primarily, this definitely is a problem with the game itself.

But there can also be a problem with the Unified Remote driver some of us have installed.
It may mess with the ordering of controllers.
