7 is okay I suppose. Anything, ANYTHING but 8.
here are instructions how to make X-Com run on XP. I'm playing on WinXP myself, haven't run into any trouble so far.
You know, if I had actually seen the minimum OS requirement, I actually wouldn't have bought the game. You don't need to be some great detective to ferret out the fact that buying the game was a mistake in this situation, but thank you(?) for the observation nontheless lol.
Every game in my library runs except for X-Com and Krater. I think I can hold out a few more years before dropping a hundredish dollars on a newer, more obnoxious OS.
But hey, who needs to be pragmatic when you can just be elitist? newst tech iz only tech worth having <_> XD
I know, haha. And when the majority of games have this issue, I may get 7. *shrug*. Simple solution to a simple problem lol.
A console? Tell me more, time traveller! What is this strange device? Is it powered by steam? I've only read of those in story-books!
Edit: (that was a simple time travel joke, by the way, not a stealthy reference to the Steam Box. Just for clarity lol)
